Tell me your due date, preferred timing, and any questions you have when you inquire. We’ll discuss scheduling, the feel of the session, and the arrangements that matter to you before booking.

There is no single week that fits everyone. We’ll plan your photographs around your circumstances and comfort rather than promise one ideal date for every pregnancy. If you have activity restrictions, let me know what accommodations you need when we discuss the session.

A maternity session can be fully clothed

You decide how much coverage feels right. A comfortable dress, lingerie, a favorite shirt, or a simple layer can all be starting points for your styling conversation. You don’t need to show more skin to make photographs that feel personal.

Bring a few ideas to the consultation. We’ll talk about fit, colors, and the style you want, along with what to bring and the hair and makeup arrangements for your day.

Guided posing, with room to pause

You don’t need modeling experience. I’ll guide your positioning and expression, and we’ll communicate throughout the session. Tell me when a pose doesn’t feel comfortable so we can change it. You can pause, adjust your clothing, or take a break when needed.

The aim is to photograph you in a way that feels comfortable and personal, without asking you to look or feel a particular way about pregnancy.

Where your session happens

Maternity boudoir sessions take place by appointment in arranged private professional spaces around the Phoenix metro. Shalista Boudoir does not have a permanent walk-in studio. Your actual location is confirmed before session day.

Keep your portraits your way

Your photographs can stay private. Images are shared only with your written, signed model release.

At your private ordering appointment, you’ll choose the portraits and products you want to purchase. An album can keep this chapter together, while wall art or a digital collection offers other ways to enjoy your images. Explore albums and wall art.

When should I get in touch?

Do I have to wear lingerie?

No. We’ll discuss clothing and coverage that feel right for you. You can choose a fully clothed session.

Can I discuss including my partner?
